In general refers to the piping systems installed to supply water and take away wastes from the building using the plumbing fixtures installed inside a building for supplying water, removing the used water along with other solid and liquid wastes and also having a connected venting system.

A complete plumbing system provides an adequate supply of water and removes waste.
